Your Aperitif Bib Dress
The Limited Edition navy blue paisley bib dress is designed by Brocarde. The dress features embroidery which showcases lyrics for her debut single Last Supper.
The lyrics read:
“Don’t desert the first course, your aperitif.
Feast until this culture leaves you empty.
Thirst for attention, wet, but never watered.
Hunger starves forever, propaganda slaughters.
Everything is judged, a regrettable fact.
Flick a finger in the air, to hell with that!”
The lyrics sit across the front of the dress and are surrounded by by ice cream sundae’s and middle fingers, all of which are hand sketched, digitalised and then transformed into stitches by Brocarde. The design has been embroidered onto duchess satin and edged with a velvet and crochet trim. The chest has a black velvet bib panel where the embroidery sits beneath it’s high neck and bow neck tie.
The dress is made from a black paisley fabric and is designed to be worn loose and free flowing. The sleeves are gathered at the shoulders to construct a puff sleeve and it featured a pleated waistline. It is fastened by a chunky metal zip down the back of the garment.
