Last Supper Prairie Dress
The Limited Edition black floral velvet prairie dress is designed by Brocarde. The dress features embroidery which showcases lyrics written by Brocarde.
The lyrics read:
“What will you consume at your last supper?
Self indulgence or the arms of your mother?
What will you drink at your last supper?
Liquor of a stranger?
Love of a lover?
What would you excrete after your last supper?
Obsession with celebrity?
The need for conformity?
Would you embrace what you class as abnormality?”
The lyrics sit across the front of the dress and surround a bottle of champagne, burger, fries, fruit, ice cream and all the items you would expect to indulge in at a “Last Supper”, all of which are hand sketched, digitalised and then transformed into stitches by Brocarde. The design has been embroidered onto duchess satin and edged with a velvet and crochet trim, the trim also provides a decorative waist band which goes round the circumference of the dress.
The dress is made from a black floral velvet fabric and is designed to flatter the figure and accentuate the waistline. The sleeves are gathered at the shoulders to construct a puff sleeve which is elasticated at the cuff and flares out over the wrist. It is fastened by a zip down the back of the garment and has a square neckline.
