Dead Doll Dress
£450.00
The Dead Doll Dress, a Limited Edition red tartan prairie dress which is designed by Brocarde. The dress features an exclusive piece of embroidery which showcases lyrics written by Brocarde.
The lyrics read…
“Thudding heartbeat, glazed expression,
In Variable forms, your first impression.
With patience always wearing thin,
comes skin that’s made of porcelain.
Cross my heart I’m already dead,
Sweet mallow fluff inside my head.
Give me guts and give me glory,
serve me as your favourite bedtime story.
Unbreakable stitches, lace and leather,
Does my name badge state unlucky Heather?
At the end of the day, when all is lost,
Just throw me back in your toy box.”
The lyrics sit centre stage across the chest of the dress and are are accompanied by a stitched heart, and doll parts design, which is hand sketched, digitalised and then transformed into stitches by Brocarde. The design has been embroidered onto black duchess satin and edged with a black velvet frill trim.
The dress is Wednesday Addams meets Little House on the Prairie. It is beautifully finished with a frilled waistband and frilled sleeves. It fastens with an invisible zip up the back. The dress is a mini dress that falls mid thigh, depending on your height.
Sizing for this dress is based on Women’s U.K dress measurements, however it is a gender neutral garment and suitable for all who love it.
